Happy Birthday, Dad!
Today is my Dad's birthday. :) We are celebrating with a couple friends and some family. Mom thought a strawberry shortcake would be nice, so that's what we made. My Mom and Dad share birthdays close together, so I had thought I'd have one nice party for the two of them, and do something small on their actual birthdays. I wish I was able to make a real cake for them, but it looks like they are both getting simple cakes on each day. Maybe next year....
It was quite tasty though! Fresh whipped cream and sweet, sweet strawberries! Soooo good.

That's my favorite kind of cake! We have that for my birthday too!! Glad my God-Father and I have such great taste!
